MTC also provided geotechnical consulting consisting of subgrade & backfill recommendations, excavation shoring systems, groundwater and drainage observations & bearing capacities.

Large-scale geotechnical feasibility study & a focused geotechnical engineering investigation as part of a technical team tasked with evaluating the 225-acre historic campus for redevelopment consideration: MTC conducted concurrent investigations addressing geologic hazards, uncontrolled fills on site & settlement potential of soft clays as analyzed in MTC’s geotechnical laboratory. MTC provided recommendations for development potential of soft clays & mitigation of soft soil conditions.
